Each Department in Stellenbosch University is responsible for ordering the text books for the modules (i.e. the modules that the department presents)
Please read the instructions of the book ordering system carefully and make sure you order the correct books. As soon as you have placed your order, you are responsible for the payment of the book(s) and the relevant amount will be added to your student account. Books cannot be sent back if ordered incorrectly. Please make sure that you DO order on time.
NO LATE ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Books Ordering
Contact your study leader/ lecturer and request that he/she place an order for the book from their departmental bookfund.
If you are unsuccessful contact your faculty librarian and send the bibliographic detail of the book to him/her. If the library considers the book to be of wider interest we may decide to buy it.

A collection of valuable and rare books on a wide range of subjects – a treasure trove of curiosities in print.
- Books, rare and unique in terms of scarcity, age, value, physical appearance and subject matter are collected.
