Tshwane University of Technology TUT Registration Fee 2025-2026

A non-refundable application fee of R240 is required to process your application. This fee facilitates the administrative procedures involved with your application and is not refundable if the application does not succeed. Payment of this fee can be completed through several channels, including direct bank transfer, online banking, or by postal order.

It’s important to note that there is no additional charge for late submissions; the standard application fee applies to all applications. Keep the original proof of payment for your records and attach a copy to your application.

Confirmation Deposit Details:

Upon receiving an acceptance letter, a confirmation deposit of R500 is required within three weeks to secure your place in the desired program. This deposit will be refunded, minus the R240 application fee, only under specific circumstances, such as failing to meet the final admission requirements.

Payment Upon Registration:

At registration, an initial payment of R1,500 is necessary, applicable to both the January/February and July enrollment periods. If you’ve paid the R500 confirmation deposit, only an additional R1,000 is needed at registration.

Cancellation during the registration window results in a full credit refund, with R240 retained as a cancellation fee. Complete reimbursement of fees is permissible only under qualifying conditions, such as ineligibility to enroll.

The campus does not accept cash for tuition, meal plans, or accommodation fees. Payments should be made through one of the following secure methods:
