Banking Details

The Potchefstroom Campus of the North-West University has various bank accounts and it is of the utmost importance that you use the correct bank account for the purpose for which you want to make the deposit.

Student tuition, residence and other fees

A direct bank deposit or electronic payment can be made into any of the North-West University’s bank accounts at ABSA Bank, First National Bank, Nedbank or Standard Bank.  The predefined account called “NWU STUDENT” must be selected from the list of beneficiaries in the same way you would select institutions like SARS or your local municipality from your bank’s beneficiaries, and only the 8-digit university number will be accepted as beneficiary reference.
