Rhodes University Athletics
We are currently in our 107th year, making us the oldest Rhodes Sporting club. We participate in road running, track and field, cross country, triathlon, and duathlon. We cater for both SOCIAL and COMPETITIVE runners, in all aspects of athletics. We host many charity events with our main charities being CANSA and the SPCA. We host many social functions for our members such as cheese and wines, dinners and braais. We are affiliated with Athletics South Africa (ASA) and therefore our athletes may obtain licenses for races around the country. Our competitive athletes and runners compete in Eastern Cape races with a few tours around the country such a USSA and the Two Oceans Marathon.
