Program Overview: This program is designed for individuals aiming to enhance their skills in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in diesel vehicles, construction machinery, and diesel engines.

Program Type:

• The National Certificate in Engineering Studies is a recognized national qualification, offered under the Department of Higher Education and Training.
• The N1 to N3 Engineering Studies qualifications are registered on the NQF as N3: SAQA ID 67491.

Program Composition:

• Core Subjects: Diesel Trade Theory, Engineering Science, Mathematics.
• Elective Subjects (choose one): Industrial Electronics or Engineering Drawing.

Admission Requirements:

• N2 National Certificate in Engineering Studies or an equivalent qualification.

Duration:

• The course duration is three months, following a trimester-based timetable. This allows students to obtain three national certificates within a year.

• Monthly Tuition Fee (for 3 months): R 399
