Africa Day

We would like to invite all MSA students and staff to join in celebrating Africa Day and our 15th MSA Birthday!

Our Africa Day Festival celebration, themed Africa Rising: #Leaders4Growth, will include appearances by exciting guest speakers who will talk about leadership and success in Africa. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear from industry leaders Kojo Baffoe (poet, writer, entrepreneur) and Noni Gasa (Woolworths Snr. PR Manager, media personality) as they share their valuable insights. Read more about our incredible speakers.

Entertainment will include a large interactive drumming circle as well as a variety of activities organised by the SRC, which will include musical performances, games, poetry reading and a celebration of all things African on campus.

In addition, this year Monash South Africa celebrates 15 years of high quality education and our network of student and alumni from all over Africa and the rest of the globe.

Join us on the day for the exciting line up of events which pay tribute to the cultural melting pot of nationalities on the campus.

Date: Wednesday 25 May
Time: 13:00 – 17:00
Venue: Lekgotla Square

Dress Code: In the spirit of celebrating Africa’s diversity, we invite you all to dress in your traditional attire as a show of our unique culture and heritage, and as a sign of unity in the development and growth of the African continent.

We look forward to seeing you all there!
