South Africa offers a broad selection of affordable, good quality and secure student-friendly accommodation across Johannesburg.

Indicative pricing for accommodation

The approximate rate for accommodation ranges from $252 to $380 per month. Single, double and triple beds per room are available.(Rates are subject to change. Conditions apply.)

Free airport shuttle service

To welcome you to South Africa, Regenesys provides a free airport pick-up service to students arriving at OR Tambo International airport, Johannesburg, between 8.00am and 6.00pm to take you to the Regenesys Campus or the student accommodation during your stay.

Working while studying in South Africa

When South Africa rejoined the international community, many global organisations set up operations in the country and created many excellent local work prospects for hard-working, skilled or educated people. Our Student Services team is available to assist students who are searching for work and to help them successfully secure meaningful work while studying.

We are very proud of our achievements to date, having assisted many students with securing meaningful work opportunities, to support them during their studies. According to South African regulations, students are permitted no more than 20 hours of part-time work per week during their semester.

 

Visa requirements

Visas are required for international students who wish to study in South Africa. We provide detailed and comprehensive assistance to all students through the visa application process to facilitate successful application.

Bank accounts

All students who enrol at Regenesys will be assisted with opening local bank accounts on the first day of arrival. This will enable students to deposit monies into their accounts. They are issued with convenient Visa bank cards, which are accepted at millions of merchants throughout the world.

Our pre-departure briefings cover everything you’ll need to know before you leave your home country, from travel recommendations and assistance, to more about the culture, introductions to the South African team and other general assistance and advice.
