Absa’s CashSend service enables you to send money to anyone in South Africa, even if they don’t have a bank account. Recipients can withdraw the funds conveniently without needing a bank card.

How to Withdraw Cash Using CashSend:

At an Absa ATM:

Visit any Absa ATM.

Select the ‘CashSend Withdrawal’ option.

Enter the 10-digit reference number received via SMS.

Input the 6-digit access code provided by the sender.

Withdraw the cash.

At Participating Retailers (Pick n Pay or Boxer):

Go to any till point at Pick n Pay or Boxer.

Provide the 10-digit withdrawal number and the 6-digit access code to the cashier.

Receive the cash amount.

Important Details:

Transaction Limits:

Maximum of R5,000 per day.

Maximum of R25,000 per month.

Amounts should be in increments of R50 or rounded to the nearest R100.

Transaction Validity:

CashSend transactions are valid for 30 days.

Unredeemed transactions can be managed via Absa Online Banking.

Security Measures:

Ensure the recipient’s cellphone number is correct to receive the SMS with the withdrawal number.

Share the 6-digit access code securely with the recipient.
