Commercial Courses Offered:
CLASS IV Course:
Duration: 1 month (1 week theory, 3 weeks practical).
Eligibility: Minimum age of 18 years, pass a medical examination, basic math and English proficiency, pass a watermanship evaluation.
Career Opportunities: Police/Fire Brigade diver, scientific diver, archaeological diver.
Theory Components: Diving history, physics, physiology, trauma and medical emergencies, procedures, decompression theory, and more.
Practical Training: Pool/confined water training, open water training, underwater emergencies, seamanship, and rope work.
Minimum Bottom Times: 0-19 meters (600 minutes), 20-30 meters (100 minutes).
CLASS III Course:
Prerequisite: Successful completion of CLASS IV course.
Focus Areas: SCUBA as backup system, high/low pressure gas supplies, communication masks and helmets, handheld tools skills.
Career Opportunities: Diamond diving industry, civil work projects, offshore diving projects.
Theory Components: Similar to CLASS IV with added focus on tools and skills.
Practical Training: Includes various diving techniques, night training, lifting bag tasks, power tools, and more.
CLASS II Course:
Objective: To prepare students for the offshore industry, including deep sea and platform diving.
Training: Underwater welding and broco cutting introduction, dive settings variety, offshore environment focus.
Practical Training: Decompression chamber training, wet bell drills, underwater rescue, and more.
International Student Packages:
Full International Package: 12 weeks for R125,000.00 / $9,300.00.
RPL International Training Deal: 5 weeks for R70,000.00 / $5,200.00.
