Buffalo City College offers an advanced engineering program in Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering. This program is designed for artisans and apprentices who want to enhance their technical qualifications and potentially advance to a National N Diploma. Here’s a detailed overview of the program:
National N Diploma Requirements:
N6 Certificate: In Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering with at least twelve (12) advanced instructional offerings.
Grades: At least a pass in three (3) instructional offerings in each of N4, N5, and N6 levels.
Practical Experience: Documentary proof of at least two years of applicable experience in business and industry, implementing two relevant N6 subjects.
Duration of Programmes:
Block Release Basis: The programs are offered full-time on an 11-week block release basis.
Trimester Progression: Successful completion of an N Level allows progression to the next level in the following trimester. It’s possible to obtain three N certificates in one year.
