Elangeni College Ntuzuma Campus: Comprehensive Guide to Vocational Education

Overview: Elangeni College’s Ntuzuma Campus is a vibrant Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) center located in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. The campus is part of a network of eight Elangeni College campuses offering a variety of dynamic programs.

Programs Offered:

• National Certificate Vocational (NCV):
  • Levels: NQF 2, 3, 4
  • Subjects: Civil Engineering and Building Construction, Electrical Infrastructure Construction, Engineering and Related Design, among others.
• NATED Courses:
  • Levels: N4, N5, N6
  • Fields: Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil), Quantity Surveying, Building and Structural Construction, and more.
• Skills Programmes:
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Courses: Basic Computer Skills, Bricklaying and Plastering, Carpentry, Domestic Electrical, Motor Vehicle Repairs, Plumbing & Drain Laying, Welding.

Application Process:

• Entry Requirements: Minimum Grade 9 pass for NCV; Senior Certificate, National Certificate N3, Grade 12, or equivalent for NATED.
• Enrollment: Pre-enroll at year-end for the next academic year.
• Documents: Certified copy of ID and latest academic report/certificate.
• Fees: Paid in advance, non-refundable, and payable via bank deposit only.
• Bursaries: Available for qualifying NCV and Nated students through the DHET Financial Aid Scheme.
