As part of the application process to Ingwe College, you will need to provide certain documents that are essential for your application to be considered complete. Here is what you need to know and do:

First-Time Applicants to Ingwe College:

When applying for the first time, it is important to have all the necessary documentation ready for upload. Use the designated link provided by the college to submit your materials. The required documents include:

  • A copy of your valid Identification Document (ID).
  • Your academic results.
  • Proof of your current residential address.

NSFAS Bursary Applicants:

Should you be applying for an NSFAS bursary, additional documents are needed:

  • Proof of income for yourself or that of your parents/legal guardians.
  • Copies of IDs for your parents/legal guardians.

Online Application Process:

You have the option to apply online using a range of devices, such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Moreover, the college offers on-campus assistance for those wishing to complete an online application session.

Pre-Application Requirements:

  1. Complete the Pre-Entry Placement Test as instructed in the provided video tutorial.
  2. Fill out the Online Application Form and upload all the requisite documents as part of the process.

Important Considerations:

  • Participation in the Pre-Entry Placement Test is mandatory.
  • You retain the autonomy to select your preferred course regardless of the placement test’s suggestion. However, if you choose a course outside of the recommended one, you must acknowledge this decision formally.
  • Save your placement screening report and remember to complete the online application form available on the college’s website.

Integrity in the Application Process:

  • Ensure that you personally complete the screening. Allowing someone else to do so could lead to inappropriate course recommendations, potentially impacting your academic performance.
  • Be honest and thorough in your responses during the screening process.

Technical Steps for New Registrants:

Upon clicking the “First Time Here?” button, you should:

  • Navigate to the “Pre-Entry Information” section and address all the necessary steps.
  • Go through every screening item in the designated folder, responding to all questions to the best of your ability.
  • Finalize each assessment by clicking the “Finish” button.

Remember Your Login Credentials:

  • Securely note your Username and Password when you register for Placement Screening.
  • In case your internet connection is interrupted, you can log back in as a Returning User and pick up where you left off.
  • Your login details will be necessary for further screening activities once you commence your college journey.

By following these instructions meticulously, you’ll ensure a smooth application process and set the stage for your educational advancement at Ingwe College.
