ABOUT THE INVESTEC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED
Investec extends an invitation to students to apply for the Investec Tech Scholarship program for the 2025-2026 academic year. Scholarships are offered for both undergraduate and postgraduate (up to Honours) studies in the field of Technology. Specifically, the scholarship covers degrees in the following disciplines:
- Business Computing (BSc / BS)
- Computer Engineering (BSc / BS)
- Computer Science (BSc / BS / BBusSc)
- Data Science (BBusSc)
- Informatics (BCom)
- Information Systems (BBusSc / BCom)
- And all equivalent Technology and Engineering degrees
MORE ABOUT THE INVESTEC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME – SELECTION & OTHER OPPORTUNITIES
The Investec Tech Scholarship is awarded to exceptional students who exhibit outstanding academic performance and innovative thinking. Financial criteria are not considered during the selection process.
Scholars will gain access to Investec’s Tech Graduate Programme and have the opportunity to join Investec early in their technology-focused educational and career journey. Throughout their studies, scholars will benefit from mentorship and participation in various tech-related initiatives, including Investec exposure events, an annual hackathon, and work readiness programs.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE INVESTEC SCHOLARSHIP
Applicants must meet the following minimum eligibility criteria before applying:
- You must be a South African citizen.
- Matriculation must be completed.
- You should be pursuing a degree qualification in a Technology-related field listed above.
- You must be entering your 2nd year to Honours or final year of study in 2025-2026.
- You should be enrolled at a recognized and accredited South African tertiary institution.
- High academic performance is expected.
- Preference will be given to Employment Equity (EE) candidates and South African citizens.
HOW TO APPLY FOR THE INVESTEC SCHOLARSHIP
Applications should be submitted online via the Investec Tech Scholarship Application 2025-2026 portal. When prompted, indicate that you learned about the scholarship through “Uni24.co.za.”
