Rhodes University Football
The Rhodes Soccer Club consists of 2 teams of men and 1 team of women. Its home venue is King Field where they have a beautiful clubhouse that they use for their after match socials as well as general club socials. The men’s 1st team and women’s team are affiliated to USSA Eastern Cape Football League where they play round robin fixtures against other universities in the Province. The Club’s biggest event of the year is Eastern Cape Intervarsity – this is a stage where they get to test their strength against other varsities in a 2 days tournament.
ATLANTA, Ga. – A total of 11 Rhodes College student-athletes were named to the 2016 Southern Athletic Association All-Conference Football Team on Tuesday afternoon.
Rhodes Soccer Club has a strong community outreach program where they provide assistance to Grahamstown High Schools League as well as the Makana Football Association.
The training/practice times are as follow:
WOMEN
Monday – Thursday: 17:00 – 18:30 at King Field
MEN
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 18:00 – 20:00
Mon, Wed, Fri are reserved for internal league.
