Royal Bafokeng Holdings Bursary 2025-2026
ABOUT THE RBH BURSARY PROGRAM
Royal Bafokeng Holdings (RBH) is offering bursaries for the 2025-2026 academic year to South African students. RBH, an African community-owned investment holding company, works alongside its sole shareholder, the Royal Bafokeng Nation Development Trust (RBNDT), to preserve and grow the financial capital of the Royal Bafokeng Nation (RBN). RBH has a dual mandate: to ensure the long-term financial independence of the RBN and to generate sufficient income to meet the social and infrastructural needs of the Bafokeng people and those residing on RBN land.
FIELDS COVERED
Bursaries will be awarded for undergraduate and postgraduate (Honours level) studies in the following fields:
- Accounting Sciences (CA stream)
- Computer Science
- Data Science
- Information Technology (IT)
- Investment Management
- Telecommunications
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for the RBH Bursary, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be 35 years old or younger.
- Have completed Matric.
- Be studying or intending to study full-time toward a qualification in one of the specified fields.
- Be entering the 1st or 2nd year of undergraduate studies or entering Honours studies in 2025-2026.
- Be studying or applied to study at a recognized public tertiary institution in South Africa (University or University of Technology).
- Be unemployed.
- Meet the minimum entry requirements for the selected qualification.
- Have achieved a minimum overall average of 65% if currently studying.
- Not be receiving any other bursary funding or NSFAS funding.
COVERAGE VALUE
The RBH Bursary will cover the following expenses: registration fees, tuition fees, prescribed textbooks, a meal allowance, and accommodation.
