Siyanda Resources (Pty) Ltd, established in 2004, is a black-owned South African resources investment company. The company’s primary areas of focus include platinum group metals (PGMs), base metals (manganese), energy (coal, uranium, oil & gas), and industrial minerals.

About the Siyanda Resources Bursary Program:

Siyanda Resources is inviting students to apply for its bursary program for the 2024-2025 academic year. The bursaries are intended to support students pursuing studies in the following fields:

  • Accounting / Finance
  • Geology
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Metallurgical Engineering
  • Mining Engineering
  • Rock Engineering (Geophysics or Geoscience)

Bursary Coverage and Selection Process:

The Siyanda Resources Bursary will cover various expenses, including registration fees, tuition fees, a textbook allowance, accommodation, and prescribed learning materials and equipment as determined by the institution.

  • Strong academic record with a minimum overall average of 60% for the 2022 academic year (Matric or tertiary)
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • Preference will be given to candidates from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.
