In a bold step that fuses high-end real estate with the digital economy, The Trump Organization has revealed plans to accept cryptocurrency payments for its newest project in Dubai. Announced by Eric Trump, the company’s Executive Vice President, the development will be done in partnership with Dar Global, a London-listed developer with experience in luxury properties across the Middle East.
The $1 billion venture, named the Trump International Hotel and Tower, will feature branded residences, a hotel, and a private clubhouse—all available for purchase using digital assets like Bitcoin (BTC).
Crypto Meets Concrete: A First for Dubai Real Estate
In what may become Dubai’s most prominent crypto-enabled property development, the Trump Organization is betting big on the growing overlap between blockchain finance and global real estate. Buyers will be able to purchase apartments and penthouses using cryptocurrency, a move that could reshape how international property deals are transacted.
“We see both real estate and cryptocurrency as long-term plays,” Eric Trump said in the announcement, underscoring the organization’s belief in catering to a new class of international, tech-savvy investors.
While crypto-to-property transactions have existed before—such as the 2020 partnership between Huobi and fäm Properties—this marks the first major branded real estate project in Dubai to adopt crypto payments on such a high-profile scale.
Trump Organization Deepens Middle East Footprint
The project is set for completion within five years, and financing will come from a mix of private capital, bank loans, and crypto-backed buyer contributions. Dar Global, which maintains a strong liquidity position, will work closely with local banks to ensure smooth project execution.
This isn’t Trump’s first foray into the region. The organization is also working with Dar Global on developments in Muscat, Oman and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, signaling a broader regional expansion strategy in key luxury markets.
More projects are expected, according to Eric Trump, as the company seeks to capitalize on Dubai’s favorable investment climate and global appeal.
Dubai Property Market Booms With International Demand
Dubai continues to rank among the world’s most dynamic real estate markets, thanks to government-friendly visa schemes, remote work permits, and its reputation as a safe, modern city for high-net-worth individuals.
From January to March 2025, Dubai recorded 111 ultra-luxury home sales (each exceeding $10 million), totaling $1.9 billion in value. The appetite for high-end real estate—especially when combined with innovative finance models—shows no signs of slowing.
A Broader Push for Crypto Integration
The Trump Organization isn’t alone in blending crypto and traditional assets. World Liberty Financial (WLFI)—a decentralized finance initiative linked to Donald Trump’s political network—recently partnered with the Pakistan Crypto Council (PCC) to grow blockchain usage in South Asia.
As digital assets continue gaining traction, initiatives like this one in Dubai suggest a future where real estate transactions may no longer be confined to fiat currency alone.
