As of 2020, the National Diploma in Management will be replaced by qualifications aligned with the newly-implemented Higher Education Qualification Sub-Framework. Admission Requirements and Selection Criteria

For Applicants with a Senior Certificate Obtained Before 2008:

  • Admission Requirement: A Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
  • Recommended Subjects: Mathematics and commercial subjects.
  • Selection Criteria: Departmental selection and a TUT potential assessment based on symbol values.

For Applicants with a National Senior Certificate in or After 2008:

  • Admission Requirement: A National Senior Certificate with a bachelor’s degree or a diploma endorsement, or an equivalent qualification with specified achievement levels in English and Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
  • Recommended Subjects: Mathematics and commercial subjects.
  • Selection Criteria: Admission Point Score (APS) of at least 22, with variations for the Extended Curriculum.

For Applicants with a National Certificate (Vocational):

  • Admission Requirement: A National Certificate (Vocational) in relevant fields with specified achievement levels.
  • Selection Criteria: Admission Point Score (APS) of at least 27.

  • End-User Computing IA and IB
