Purpose

The aim of the course is to equip students with the necessary knowledge, skills and values to practice sound basic financial management in their enterprises thereby empowering this sector of the economy and ensuring good small business governance.

 

 

Target group

Candidates requiring effective day-to-day financial management skills

 

Admission requirements

Senior Certificate or an equivalent NQF level 4 qualification

 

Duration

Six months

 

Language medium

English

 

Tuition method

Distance education by means of a study guide, prescribed book, tutorial letters and assignments.

 

Kind of assessment

Note:

Formative assessment and examination admission will comply with UNISA’s formative assessment rules and policies
