Accepting an offer to study at UKZN
A. Application Status Inquiry
To inquire about the current status of your application, please enter your ID, CAO, or UKZN student number in the specified field. The result of your application will fall into one of the following categories:
- Confirmed Offer:
- Offer granted excluding residence or financial aid.
- Offer including residence.
- Offer granted without financial support.
- Under Review:
- Application status pending.
- Placement on the waitlist.
- Undergoing decision review.
- Awaiting receipt of academic records or additional documentation.
- Unsuccessful Application:
- Admission requirements not fulfilled.
- Programme capacity reached.
- Withdrawal of offer due to non-acceptance within the designated timeframe.
- Offer declined by the applicant.

Upon receiving an offer, please visit the UKZN website’s Registration section at www.ukzn.ac.za for further guidance.
B. Offer Acceptance Procedure
Accepting Your Offer for Undergraduate Programmes:
The acceptance process for Undergraduate offers is now fully online. You will be sent an email link to the address you supplied during application, along with SMS login details. This will grant you access to the UKZN Student iEnabler where you can confirm the acceptance of your offer(s) and upload necessary documents.
You must download, fill out, and sign the Acceptance of Offer and Indemnity forms before submission, along with any other requested documents.

Accepting Your Offer for Postgraduate Programmes:
Postgraduate students will find relevant documents for their acceptance process below:

These documents are pertinent to Postgraduate students and must be completed as part of the offer acceptance process.
