Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning
USB’s Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning is the first step towards obtaining Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) accreditation.
The Financial Planning Institute (FPI) has partnered with USB to provide this Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning. The programme fulfils the educational requirements required to become a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) recognised by the FPI.
The programme is presented at NQF level 8, with 120 credits worth of modules. The programme can be completed in one or two years. The language of tuition is English.
What can you do with this programme?
You need this programme to write the FPI Professional Competency Examination in order to become a Certified Financial Planner®. The CFP® designation is internationally recognised as the benchmark for professional advice.
Study while you work
Classes are presented at the USB campus in the Tyger Valley business district in northern Cape Town on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 18:00 to 21:00.
