Varsity College Vision and Mission

Varsity College Vision and Mission

Varsity College Vision and Mission, Varsity College is a proud state co-educational school for students from Prep to Year 12. It was established in 2001 and is now Queensland’s largest school set across two campuses.

Varsity College is a modern and dynamic school uniquely located within a central business and technology hub close to Bond University on the Gold Coast. These aspects create a rich learning environment with an unprecedented range and wealth of opportunities for students.

To continue to nurture our students’ potential and thrive as an organisation, we must be clear in our focus and have an eye on the future. This statement outlines the long-term destination for Varsity College and provides us with a roadmap for continued improvement and success.

Our Values

Varsity College has a balanced philosophy which places an emphasis on putting students first and maximising their potential around four pillars of success – academic excellence, performing arts, sporting excellence and community involvement. The four sub-schools   generate a supportive environment appropriate for different stages of development. This enables all children to learn with confidence and encourage the development of values that will apply to all aspects of life beyond school.

At Varsity College, a strong values framework guides our actions and relationships in the pursuit of providing the best environment for learning and interacting with each other. It is based on an embedded TRAKS model which features strongly on our middle and senior campus, encouraging Tolerance, Respect, Acceptance, Kindness and Support in all that we do.

The College also implements the Leader in Me philosophy embedding the 7 Habits of Highly Effective people into the culture, traditions and language used by students, teachers and parents across the P-6 campus. This demonstrates our values in action with our leadership vision captured below.

We will inspire others.

We are unique and can achieve greatness.

Together we lead and are the voice of the future…Dare to Dream!
