Stellenbosch University Requirements for Law
The Faculty of Law offers several programs, including LLB (4 and 3 years), BCom (Law), BAccLLB, and BA (Law), with an annual intake limit of approximately 320 new students due to teaching and facility constraints.

Selection Process
Application Deadline: The deadline for LLB (4 years), BCom (Law), BA (Law), and BAccLLB applications is July 31. The National Benchmark Test must be completed by this date, and results should be promptly submitted.
Selection Lists: Separate lists for each program, to be finalized by August 30.
LLB (4 years): Selection based on academic merit and National Benchmark Test results in an 80:20 ratio. Target is 120 students, with at least 60 BCIA students.
LLB (3 years): Selection from undergraduate degree marks. Target is 50 students, with at least 25 BCIA students.
BA (Law), BCom (Law), BAccLLB: Selection similar to LLB (4 years). The target is 100 students, with a 70/30 division between BCom (Law) and BAccLLB.
Overall Selection: A total of 460 students are selected, with the Dean having discretion over a limited number of exceptional applicants.
Waiting List: Applicants meeting the minimum requirements but not initially selected can be waitlisted.
Transfers: 25 spots are reserved for transfer students, based on university and school performance.
Provisional Selection: Students must meet minimum admission criteria to finalize their registration.
