Mnambithi TVET College Admission Requirements

Before applying to Mnambithi TVET College, make sure to meet the necessary admission/entry requirements for the preferred course of study or vocation of choice. TVET Colleges in South Africa generally have lower entry requirements in comparison to Universities in South Africa. Below are a list of requirements you must meet for a successful application.

  • Grade 9 Certificate or equivalent qualification for (NCV Courses)
  • Grade 9 Certificate with a 50% pass in Mathematics for ( Engineering NCV Courses)
  • Grade 10 with 50% in Mathematics OR Grade 11 with 40% in Mathematics for (Engineering Nated Courses)
  • Grade 12 Certificate or equivelen (For Nated Courses)

 

NB: It is advised that all prospective student refrain from paying monies to anyone who presents themselves as admission guides or representatives of  Mnambithi TVET College to the end of assisting in Online Applications or Hard Copy Applications. How to apply

  • Enroll for your chosen NC(V) programme.
  • Obtain an application form during induction.
  • Complete the form and return it to the campus. Ensure that you submit your form BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE and provide ALLrequested supporting documentation.
  • Qualifying applications will them be submitted to the Mnambithi TVET College Bursary Committee for consideration. Bursaries will be awarded based on financial need and academic performance within the confines of the funds allocated to the College by the Department of Higher Education & Training.
  • IMPORTANT: Students enrolling for NC(V) programmes are required to pay 25% of their fees on registration. However, students should ensure that they have the means to pay the full study and related fees for their programme, according to college requirements and deadlines, and not rely on receiving a bursary as bursary funds are limited, and are awarded according to strict pre-determined criteria. Students who do not receive bursaries will be liable for their own outstanding student accounts.

  • Students not qualifying for a bursary must deposit R510
  • Students not qualifying for a bursary must complete and sign a student fee contract (person responsible for payment of the tuition fees)
  • Students qualifying for a bursary must have a provisional bursary acceptance letter
  • Placement letter

  • R100 application fee.
  • Complete the placement assessment.
