Can you work online while on an F-1 visa?
Freelance work is not permitted during the first year of study on an F1 visa. You can only do on-campus work, as described above. After your first year of college, you can use OPT to do freelance or self-employment work directly related to your field of study.
Can an F-1 OPT student work remotely from another country?
