Accessing the University of Cape Town NMU Blackboard Learn Login is relatively simple.
- Visit the NMU Student Portal Via this https://www.unisa.ac.za/sites/myunisa/default/
- Search for the Blackboard Tab in the Navigation Bar under returning students
- On the NMU Blackboard Learn Login Page, enter your details, thus your username and password.

On the NMU Blackboard Login Page, do the following
- Click on Forgot Password / Reset Password
- Enter your Username / Student Email Address as Prompted
- You will receive details in your Email on how to access your account again.
- Follow these steps and assign a new password as prompted.
- Try Logging in Again.
STEPS ON HOW TO ACCESS UNISA STUDENT PORTAL
Accessing the Student Portal is easy.
The first step is to Open an Internet Browser, this can be Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera Browser or Safari. Any of these browsers will serve well.
Next step will be to access the UNISA Homepage by visiting this Link. Search for the student portal tab and click on it.
Thirdly, If you are a new student or you are applying to University of South Africa UNISA for the very first time, you will need to access the portal with the username and password you were given when you were making your initial application. If you have none of these, then you would need to create a new student account. To do this, click on ” Create Student Account” and provide the necessary details.
If you happen to be a staffer or returning student, enter your existing credentials, which is your Username and Password on the login screen.
Guest users will be given a temporal login Username and Password. These will be delivered to you by Email. Kindly check your email address for these.

The Unisa Student Communication Centre will be open from 08:00 – 19:00 Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 14:00 (SAST) on Saturdays in order to support students writing examinations.
IMPORTANT:
- If you send an e-mail directly to a Unisa e-mail address, insert your student number in the subject line to effect the correct routing to an advisor for processing.
- Please check the list carefully and send an enquiry to one e-mail address only. This will ensure that there is no confusion as to who must respond, thereby preventing unnecessary delays in the response or the email portrayed as spam.
- Students should only forward enquiries to the Registrar and Deputy Registrar in instances where those enquiries could not be resolved at other levels.
