Monash South Africa Winter School
Monash South Africa’s (MSA) second winter school was a resounding success. Matric students from over 24 high schools made their way to the MSA campus for the extra lessons, which they termed “amazing and awesome”.
Karla Watson of Bryanston High said the lessons were brilliant.
“l have grasped some concepts l had not understood in class. The teachers have made some of the things clear and l now understand a lot more. This winter school has helped me a lot,” Karla said.
The winter school has provided well-rounded assistance to all students who attended. Some came to receive tips for their preliminary and final exams, while others came to gain a clear understanding of concepts they had failed to grasp in class.
All left the winter school satisfied and looking forward to the revision classes to be held closer to their final exams.
Thanks to MSA, these matriculants are now seeing the exams in a different light.
Founded by Monash University in 2001, Monash South Africa (MSA) became the first institution in Sub-Saharan Africa to join the Laureate International Universities network in 2013, which has a presence in 25 countries, serving over 1,000,000 students globally across 70 institutions and online.
MSA has since been well established and offers qualifications in four different Schools. Our graduates, who leave MSA with high quality qualifications, leadership skills and a sense of civic commitment, are highly sought after.
