The Mazda CX-3 is a very popular SUV. It has been around for a few years now, but it’s still one of the best vehicles to buy if you’re looking for something small and nimble that can still carry five people. The CX-3 comes in two different models: Active and Dynamic. Both have similar power trains (a 2L engine producing 121kW), but the Mazda CX-3 2.0DYNAMIC costs R424,200 compared to R394,700 for the MAZDA CX-3 ACTIVE 2.0.
What are the features of the Mazda cx-3?
Engine size.
The Mazda CX-3 is available in South Africa with two engine options, both of which are inline-four motors. The 2.0L comes standard on all models, while the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine is an extra-cost option that’s only available on the GT grade and above (GV, GS, and GT).

Cylinders.
Mazda’s is a four-cylinder engine, which means the number of pistons inside the engine. The more cylinders an engine has, the more power it can produce and the higher its fuel economy will be. Most cars have six or eight cylinders. The only time you see a car with 10 cylinders is in sports cars or trucks such as big SUVs or vans for hauling people and/or cargo over long distances on highways.
Power output.
This year, the 2.0-litre engine makes 150kW of power and 230Nm of torque. The 2.2-litre car has 155kW/285Nm while the top-of-the-range 2.5 model has 165kW/311Nm on tap.
You’ll find that you’re able to accelerate fairly quickly from low speeds without sacrificing any fuel economy or refinement in your driving experience. Going for a higher power output means that you’ll need to refit your exhaust system with an aftermarket unit so as not to damage it while driving at high speeds!
The only downside here is that these vehicles don’t come with a manual transmission option – which can make things tricky if you’re looking for more control over how fast or slow your vehicle goes through corners (or even stopping at traffic lights!). If this isn’t something that bothers then it should be no issue whatsoever with any of these vehicles – but if it does bother then I recommend looking elsewhere for now until Mazda releases an updated version later down line.”
