How Much is A Child Grant in South Africa?
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA), that apportions social grants on behalf of the Department of Social Development, reported on the Child Support Grant (CSG).
The reason for the Grant
The child support stipend is designed to help parents pay for their kid’s essential requirements in lower-income homes. The award is intended to fill the gap in the cost of living, not to replace other sources of income.
You will be responsible for paying R1050 per month for each child. The South African Social Security Agency will pay you after your application is submitted (SASSA). For the first two weeks, you can obtain the grant by paying with cash during a given pay period on a specific day.
