Centre for Decision Sciences
The Centre for Decision Sciences is a unit within Unisa, offering non-degree short-learning programmes with an emphasis on mathematical skills for the business world. The specialised programmes Mathematical Modelling of Derivatives and Neural Networks are no longer being offered but we can design inhouse training on these topics. The Centre has already served over 5 000 students and at present offers the following courses.
- Quantitative Reasoning for Business 1 (qualification code 76824) and Quantitative Reasoning for Business 2 (one-day workshops); and
- the Certificate programme: Numerical Skills for Business (qualification code 70114);
Students in the Centre for Decision Sciences study using a student number different from that used for Unisa’s formal (degree) programmes and the Centre student number cannot be used when registering for formal (degree) studies. Please plan to apply in time for your other Unisa qualifications.
