About the Oasis Bursary Programs:
Oasis offers bursaries for students pursuing qualifications in various fields, including Business Science, Commerce, Science, Law, and more. These bursaries support undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral studies in a wide range of disciplines.
Service Contract and Selection Process:
Bursary recipients are required to participate in the Vacation Work Programme. After graduation, they must work for Oasis for a period equal to the duration of the funding received plus an additional year.
Applicants will receive acknowledgment of their application within two weeks of applying. Successful applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by December 31, at the latest. Those who have written their Matric exams will receive notification as soon as possible after their final Matric results are received.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for the Oasis Bursary, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- South African citizenship
- Completed Matric or currently in Matric
- Intending to study full time in one of the specified fields
- Studying or intending to study at a recognized South African tertiary institution
- Not receiving any other bursary funding or financial assistance from another company
How to Apply:
- Download and complete the Oasis Bursary Application Form.
- Submit clear copies of the required supporting documentation along with your completed application form. Ensure that your documents are arranged in the order specified on page 6 of the application form.
- Applications must be submitted online via WeTransfer as a single compressed PDF file.
- Applications must also be hand-delivered to your nearest Oasis office. Addresses for Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban are provided in the original message.
Closing Date:
The closing date for Oasis Bursary applications is September 30. Ensure that you apply before this date to be considered.
