N3TC Bursary 2025-2026
About N3TC:
The N3 Toll Concession (RF) Proprietary Limited (N3TC) holds a concession contract with the South African National Roads Agency (SOC) Limited (SANRAL) to manage a 415 km section of the N3 transport corridor, known as the N3 Toll Route. N3TC is responsible for designing, constructing, financing, operating, and maintaining this section of the N3 Route from November 1999 until 2029. This concession agreement is one of the country’s most successful public-private sector partnerships. The N3 Toll Route spans from the KwaZulu-Natal province, starting at the Cedara interchange, and extends to the Gauteng province, ending at the Heidelberg South interchange.
About the N3TC Bursary Program:
N3TC offers community bursaries to students residing in specific municipalities along the N3 Toll Route corridor in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Free State, and KwaZulu-Natal provinces. These bursaries are available for undergraduate studies in the following fields:
- Accounting
- Civil Engineering
- Information Technology
- Marketing
- Mathematics and Science Teaching
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for the N3TC Bursary, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- South African citizenship
- Residing in specific municipal areas along the N3 Toll Route corridor (details provided)
- Completed Matric
- Studying toward an undergraduate Degree qualification in one of the specified fields
- Entering the 3rd or 4th year of study or Honours level in
- Studying at a recognized and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
- Strong academic record
- Proven financial need

The closing date for applications is 8 February at 17:00. Be sure to submit your application before this date to ensure it is considered.
