About the MTN Bursary Program:
MTN offers bursaries to deserving students in the following fields of study:
- Accounting / Accounting Science
- Internal Accounting
- Business Risk Management
- Human Resources
- Marketing
- Light Current Engineering
- Computer Applications
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- Software Development
- Information Systems
- Technology
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for the MTN Bursary, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- South African citizenship
- Completed Matric
- Studying or intending to study in one of the specified fields
- Studying or intending to study at a recognized South African tertiary institution
- Good academic record
- Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged students
How to Apply for the MTN Bursary:
Eligible students can apply by submitting clear copies of the following supporting documentation:
- ID document (certified copy)
- Matric certificate (certified copy)
- Full tertiary academic record (on tertiary institution letterhead)
- Latest academic transcripts (certified copies)
- Proof of enrollment in one of the specified fields of study
- Proof of household income (latest payslips/affidavit if unemployed/pension statement if on state pension)
- Full Curriculum Vitae
- Motivational letter explaining your future goals and how the bursary will help you achieve them
