How to Buy Airtime with Nedbank
Buying airtime using Nedbank is simple and can be done through several methods, including the Nedbank Money App, Online Banking, and USSD for users without internet access. Here’s a step-by-step guide for each method:
1. Using the Nedbank Money App
- Step 1: Open the Nedbank Money App on your mobile device.
- Step 2: Log in with your Nedbank credentials.
- Step 3: Navigate to the Buy tab, which will show options such as “Airtime” or “Data.”
- Step 4: Select the Airtime option and choose your mobile network provider.
- Step 5: Enter the amount of airtime you want to purchase and the cellphone number you’re buying for.
- Step 6: Confirm the transaction. The airtime will be credited to the mobile number immediately.
Tip: You can also set up recurring airtime purchases or choose to recharge any number.
2. Nedbank Online Banking
- Step 1: Log in to Nedbank Online Banking.
- Step 2: Go to the Payments or Buy section and select Airtime.
- Step 3: Choose your mobile network and enter the amount of airtime you wish to purchase.
- Step 4: Input the phone number for which you’re buying airtime.
- Step 5: Confirm the details and complete the transaction. The airtime will be credited to the specified number.
3. USSD (For Non-Smartphones)
- Step 1: Dial 120001# from your registered mobile phone.
- Step 2: Select the Airtime option from the menu.
- Step 3: Enter the phone number you want to recharge and the desired amount of airtime.
- Step 4: Confirm the transaction, and the airtime will be credited immediately.
4. ATM or Nedbank Branch
If you’re unable to access the above options, you can also purchase airtime from any Nedbank ATM or in-person at a Nedbank branch. Simply select the airtime purchase option on the ATM screen and follow the prompts.
