ALA is more than a family. It is an organization that put smiles on the face of the less privilege and those that have great and might potential and entrepreneur skill. I love ALA, I’m not yet a student, but I applied for the class of 2018, if I should get admitted or if I will get admitted all I know that ALA has produce great leaders especially in my country Nigeria. As my name implies Ogbu which means the great hunter, Joseph which means increase, Chinedu which means God is protecting me. I will never be a source of disappointment to my community Ihenyi, my country and my school, Agboju senior secondary school. ALA is the best place to be and develop your potential as a leader.I want to be a great economist, because my village and my state lack well educated economist, I hope my people will love it. Life is full of challenges, but there are even more opportunities, ALA taught me that. I LOVE AFRICAN LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

Africa can be called a lot of (negative) things but one thing that is not a fuzzy dream is our demographic dividend. Africa really has talent and this place is just testimony to that. Kudos to everyone making this happen!

This is an area where the youths can come in. One important role which the youths can play in peace and conflict resolution is for them to “BE THE CHANGE”. The youths can do this by changing their attitudes towards people, traditions, religion and believes. They should learn to combine their enthusiasm with patience, realising the importance of living together and should be responsible to defend the frontiers of peace and non-violence.
The youths should equally understand their leadership capacity by educating themselves on the need for community leadership and taking opportunities available to prioritise leadership development programme especially within them in rural areas because lack of knowledge about basic decision making impedes progress and therefore results in conflicts.
On the other hand, the youths can play an active role in peace and conflict resolution by forming a new learning centres of peace missionaries and NGO network in the grassroots, concentrating on value education and spiritual renewal among children.

No doubt, given the level of training and discipline being instilled into our young generation of leaders at this institution, I predict that at least two(2) African presidents will emerge among the products of this academy in the next 15-20 years.

I have sent my application already, God help me complete my admission successfully. I am a natural young leader, I have done a lot till now, but still not enough to bring changes to my country and continent, Just as there are soccer academies that develop soccer talents, ALA can develop me into a great leader,,, my hopes in the Lord who understands the weight of these words because to others it may just seem as a text in my favour.
