About Boston Media House and YFM:

Boston Media House is a private higher education institution registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) in South Africa. It offers various qualifications in media and design and has campuses in Sandton, Pretoria, and Durban.

YFM is a youth-focused radio station located in Johannesburg, South Africa, with a strong emphasis on urban contemporary music genres, including Hip Hop, R&B, and Kwaito. Established in 1997, YFM caters to a young audience and features talk shows, entertainment, and interactive competitions.

About the Boston Media House and YFM Scholarship Program:

Boston Media House and YFM are offering two types of scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year to study at Boston Media House in Sandton:

Scholarship 1: Diploma in Media Practices at Boston Media House (3 years full-time), valued at R180,000.
Scholarship 2: Soul Candi digital composition and production short course, valued at R30,000.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Completed Matric in 2021
Interested in studying a media or music qualification
Intending to study at Boston Media House in Sandton in 2026-2027
Strong academic record
Not a director of Yired (Pty) Ltd, Boston Media House, an employee at YFM, Boston Media House, and/or their agencies, and not an immediate family member
