You can schedule your ride in South Africa!
Uber is a ridesharing service that allows you to request a ride from your smartphone, with the help of geolocation and mapping software. Uber has changed the way people get around in cities around the world. The Uber app can be downloaded on both iPhone and Android devices. At any given time, there are hundreds of thousands of drivers available to pick up passengers; these drivers are independent contractors who use their own vehicles as part of an Uber shift (you’ll never have to share your ride with strangers!). While it’s possible to book ahead of time if you’re traveling during peak hours or if you want specific dates and times, riders can also request on-demand rides immediately upon arrival at their destination—Uber will ping nearby drivers (who receive notifications via text message) so they can meet you right away!
How to schedule your ride on the app in South Africa?
You can schedule your ride in South Africa. To do this, go to the Uber app and select ‘My Trips’ from the left-hand menu. On that screen, tap on Schedule Ride and then tap Scheduled Rides – you’ll see a list of all your scheduled trips with an alert for any upcoming ones. You may also see an alert if one has been cancelled or delayed.
If you have more than one trip scheduled at once, click on the trip title (for example UberX) to see details about where you need to be picked up and drop off at what time(s). Tap Confirm when ready – or Cancel if there are changes needed before confirming this trip.
