Eligibility Criteria: Paving the Pathway
To be considered for the Study Buddy Fund Host Community Bursary Program , candidates must meet the following criteria:
- South African citizenship
- Black classification as per BBBEE codes (priority for Black learners)
- Successful completion of Grade 12 and acceptance to a bachelor’s degree at a South African university
- Residence in host communities (advantageous)
- Grade 12 status in the recruitment year
- No affiliation with CCBSA or its affiliates

Applicants must submit the following documents in addition to their application:
- Certified copy of ID document
- Certified copy of matric certificate (if available)
- Certified copy of most recent matric results (if no certificate available)
- Motivational letter outlining suitability for the bursary
- University acceptance proof (institution letterhead)
- Proof of residence
