First-Time Registrations:

Returning Students or Additional Qualifications:

Important Considerations
Application Completion: Ensure all fields in the application form are accurately filled to prevent processing delays.
Programme-Specific Requirements:

- For the Bachelor of Arts (Alternative Education), note that it is not a professional teaching qualification.
- For the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Intermediate Phase (IP) and Foundation Phase (FP), provide a full transcript with credits and NQF levels.
- Ensure completion of necessary specialization fields on the application form.
- For PGCE in IP, be aware that certain didactics undergraduate modules (e.g., History, Geography, Science, and Technology) are not offered; select options only if previous qualifications include these modules up to NQF level 6.
Credit Accumulation and Transfer (CAT): Interested applicants can contact the RPL & CAT Unit at rplandcat@cornerstone.ac.za for information on alternative access routes, especially if they do not meet standard entry requirements but are 23 years or older.
Module Availability: Content for registered modules will be accessible on the Learning Management System (LMS) called Funda closer to the commencement of classes.

Financial Information

Application Fee: R330.00 (non-refundable) for all new students.
Student Card: R120.00 for first-year students or replacements.
Technology Fee: R650.00 annually for all students.
Initial Payment: A non-refundable initial payment of R5,000.00 is required at registration.
