Ju noted the importance of the Coinbase Premium Index, a key metric that reflects the difference in Bitcoin prices on Coinbase and other exchanges. He argued that while high OTC (over-the-counter) volumes and deposits suggest growing institutional interest, “old whales” are currently offloading Bitcoin, reducing upward price momentum.
“Who is selling Bitcoin now? Old whales. The next surge requires recovery,” Ju added, signaling that a rebound in the premium index is essential for triggering the next major rally.

At the time of the report, Bitcoin is trading around $98,200, showing a modest increase in the last 24 hours. While regulatory clarity and institutional participation set the stage for growth, improvements in market indicators like the Coinbase Premium Index are needed to sustain bullish trends.
