Coastal TVET College Application Documents 

Prior to your application, ensure that you have the following documents with you.

-Indicate or proof of application fee

-Provide all the important documents such as Valid ID, certified Results or certificate

-Provide IDs of parents and/or guardian or death certificate where applicable

-Provide Municipal billing document/other account statements (not older than 3 months)

-International students must provide their passport ID where applicable

Coastal TVET College Admission Requirements

Before applying to Coastal TVET College, make sure to meet the necessary admission/entry requirements for the preferred course of study or vocation of choice. TVET Colleges in South Africa generally have lower entry requirements in comparison to Universities in South Africa. Below are a list of requirements you must meet for a successful application.

  • Grade 9 Certificate or equivalent qualification for (NCV Courses)
  • Grade 9 Certificate with a 50% pass in Mathematics for ( Engineering NCV Courses)
  • Grade 10 with 50% in Mathematics OR Grade 11 with 40% in Mathematics for (Engineering Nated Courses)
  • Grade 12 Certificate or equivelen (For Nated Courses)

 

NB: It is advised that all prospective student refrain from paying monies to anyone who presents themselves as admission guides or representatives of  Coastal TVET College to the end of assisting in Online Applications or Hard Copy Applications. Many have been scammed this way. Either visit the Website directly or visit the Coastal TVET College registrars office.

 

Application Fees:

For NCV courses:  students who do not qualify for financial aid (NSFAS) must pay a minimum deposit of R2 000 on the date of registration, followed by instalments to be completed before the final examination.

Do I Need to Write the NBTs? →No

Course Cost Range Per Annum

Tuition costs for NCV courses at Coastal TVET College ranges anywhere from R8 000 to R21 000.

Coastal TVET College does not have online applications.  You can only get an application form at one of their campuses.  You can find the addresses of their different campuses.

Step 2:  Complete your application form in full.

*Remember you’ll need an email address.

Step 3:  Attach all supporting documents.

  • Proof of residence
  • Certified copy of guardian\parent ID
  • Latest Academic Results
  • Student certified ID

Please note: It’s important for you to have certified copies as well as your original documents with you. All certified documents may not be older than 3 months.

Step 4:  Complete a student accommodation form. Find more information.
