There are 3 parts to the K53 learner’s test. The first part is a 10-question multiple-choice test with 5 questions per page. The second part is a 25-question multiple-choice test with 5 questions per page. And the third part is a 20-question true or false test with 10 questions per page.
Where can I take the learner’s test in South Africa?
The learners permit test is a requirement for learners who want to get their driver’s licence. The test is available in all provinces of South Africa and can be taken at any of the following:
Driving schools – These are the most common places to take the learner’s permit test. Learners can book an appointment with a driving school to take the test on a specific date.
Department of Transport offices – Learners can also go to their nearest Department of Transport office to take the learners permit test.
Learners will need to bring along some form of identification, such as a passport or ID card so that they can prove their identity.
