In April, the cost of sending a basic letter in South Africa roe from R4.90 to R5.34.
A medium letter (B5) will cost R10.75, up from R9.85 now, while a big letter (B4) now costs R13.15, up from R12.05.
In accordance with these increases, the price of a 10-stamp booklet rose from R49.00 to R53.40.
Fastmail charges will also rise on April 1. A regular Fastmail letter will now cost R8.70 instead of R8.00.
A medium letter will cost R20.60 (up from R18.90) to send by Fastmail, while a big letter would cost R24.90 (up from R24.90).
Surface mail for African nations has been stopped in the 2019/20 control period, with the exception of Lesotho, Swaziland, Mozambique, and Botswana, according to the revised price document.
