According to the credit rating system, 10 notional hours equal one credit. A higher certificate, for instance, consists of a module with 10 x 12 credits and 120 total credits. Twelve credits in each program equal 120 notional hours. Therefore, a 15-week semester requires at least 8 hours of weekly study time.
