If reports from the appropriate agencies indicate that additional criteria must be completed, the Department of Planning & Development will notify the applicant.
The applicant must meet the conditions before scheduling a re-inspection with the officer in charge.
Step 2: Complete the application and send it to the License Officer. The Town Planning Department will assist you in determining if the property has business rights and whether the zoning rights correspond with the Scheme Regulations.
If your application meets the standards listed above, the application process can begin.
Step 3: Pay the Fee
For the application of a business license, an application fee (annually increasing in accordance with Council’s tariff structure) is due at the cashiers.
For the fees paid, a receipt will be sent.
Step 4: Request for Comments
The application is subsequently forwarded to the appropriate Departments for feedback and suggestions, which may include Environmental Health, Planning, Fire Services, and Electricity.
Step 5: License Issuance
Once all appropriate agencies’ opinions have been received, the Department of Community Services, Licensing, will issue the license.
