1. Buy a DStv Explora make sure it’s connected to the internet.
2. To access Showmax on your Explora, push the blue DStv button on your Explora remote control.
3. Scroll to “Watch now” and select “Showmax”.
4. Navigate to the content you’d like to watch and push OK when you’ve found the show you’ve been looking for.
5. You will be prompted to sign in to your Showmax account.
6. Once you’ve signed in, there will be a 30-second countdown before the show is ready to watch.
How fast does my Internet need to be to use Showmax on DStv Explora?
You should have a minimum download speed of 2 megabits per second (Mbps). An uncapped 4Mbps connection or faster is recommended for the best experience.
What if I have DStv Premium but don’t have an Explora?
