An NGO is a non-profit organization that was founded for the benefit of the public or another cause related to one or more cultural or social causes.

A non-profit organization’s earnings and assets are not distributable to its founders, members, directors, officers, or anyone connected to any of them; instead, they must be used to further the objectives outlined in their MOI.

A non-profit organization must be registered with at least three incorporators, three directors, and it may have members or not. A non-profit organization need not have members.
