About Katapult Business School:
Katapult Business School is a private higher education institution located in Bedfordview, Gauteng, South Africa. The institution is provisionally registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) until 2024-2025. Katapult Business School offers a three-year business and marketing degree at NQF level 7.
The school was founded by Mr. Zachos, who has more than 30 years of experience in the business and marketing education sector.
About the Katapult Business School Bursary:
Katapult Business School offers three types of bursaries for students pursuing a Bachelor of Marketing Management (Business Administration) degree (NQF level 7). The bursaries are awarded for the first year of study and can be renewed for the second and third years based on academic performance.
For 1st-year students, the bursaries are divided into the following categories:
Category 1: Full bursary valued at R68,000, covering tuition fees and exam fees (students are responsible for registration fees, textbooks, and other study fees).
Category 2: Half bursary valued at R34,000, covering 50% of tuition fees and exam fees (students are responsible for the remaining 50% of tuition fees and exam fees, as well as registration fees, textbooks, and other study fees).
Category 3: Part bursary valued at R8,500, covering 12.5% of tuition fees and exam fees (students are responsible for the remaining 87.5% of tuition fees and exam fees, as well as registration fees, textbooks, and other study fees).
For 2nd and 3rd-year students, the bursaries are divided into the same categories, with full or half bursaries covering tuition fees and exam fees.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following minimum entry criteria:
1st-year students (Categories 1, 2, and 3):
- Achieved a minimum overall average of 80% in Matric
- Achieved a minimum of 75% for Mathematics or Accounting and English 1st language in Matric OR a minimum of 80% for English 1st language or English 2nd language.
2nd and 3rd-year students (Categories 1 and 2):
- Achieved a minimum overall average of 85% in the previous year of study (1st or 2nd year)
- Achieved a minimum of 80% for all 5 or 6 modules.

- Submit clear copies of the following supporting documents along with your application form and questionnaire:
- ID document or passport (certified copy)
- Matric certificate (certified copy)
- ID document or passport of the person responsible for paying the balance of your outstanding fees if you do not receive a full bursary (certified copy).
Closing Date:
There is no specific closing date for applications as Katapult Business School accepts applications throughout the year. However, it is advisable to apply as early as possible to ensure your application is considered.
