The Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) is a department of the South African government. The department is responsible for public service regulation, administration and management; and for promoting transformation, service delivery and development in the public service.
The department is headed by the Minister of Public Service and Administration, who is a member of the Cabinet. The DPSA is divided into four directorates, each headed by a Deputy Director-General.
