MUT Late Application 2025: Undergraduate and Postgraduate
Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) has opened its late application period for the 2025 academic year, providing an opportunity for prospective students who missed the initial deadlines to apply for various undergraduate programs.

The late application window at MUT commenced on November 1, 2024, and will remain open until November 30, 2024.

Application Process
All late applications must be submitted through the Central Applications Office (CAO). The process is as follows:
- Access the CAO Website: Visit www.cao.ac.za and select the ‘Apply’ tab, then click on ‘Apply Now’.
- Complete the Application Form: Enter your personal details, academic qualifications, and program choices (up to six).
- Upload Required Documents: Ensure all necessary documents, such as certified copies of your ID and academic records, are uploaded.
- Pay the Application Fee: The late application fee is R470 for South African citizens and R580 for international applicants. Payments can be made online or via EasyPay at participating retailers.
- Submit the Application: After completing all sections and making the payment, submit your application.
Important Considerations
- Limited Availability: Late applications are considered based on available space within the programs. Meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee acceptance.
- No Walk-ins: MUT does not accept walk-in applications. All applications must be submitted online through the CAO.
- Application Status Tracking: Applicants can monitor their application status by visiting the CAO website and entering their CAO or ID number.
